About the company
THE BALMER LAWN GROUP is a family business that is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary with pride. Originating in the New Forest in 1971, they have spent the last 50 years going from strength to strength and they are now comprised of four branches: Honda at Brockenhurst; Dibden Purlieu; Honda, Fiat, Ssangyong & Abarth at Salisbury and Suzuki at New Milton.
The Winning Elements
BALMER LAWN GROUP were a clear winner due to their bold and exhilarating graphics. We loved the addition of the speeding bike which really showcases the company and their product; the composition and copy make it easy to understand in seconds.

Basically, we loved how this design (below) manipulates the field of view to mimic the natural way we process visual information. When it comes to BALMER LAWN GROUP’s design, we love how it follows this method accurately with the image to the left then the text to the right with their contact number clearly highlighted to boot!
What’s fantastic about it is once the customer has absorbed the image (and decided that they love it!) they can be in touch right away. A clear call to action followed by clever design, makes this a truly effective billboard!
