January is always a busy period for the team at Billboard Media, with many businesses launching their New Year campaigns. Picking our ‘Campaign of the Month’ can be quite a challenge, but as soon as we saw this campaign from Lidl, one of Europe’s biggest food retailers, we were sold! It has an effective and clutter-free message plus a hilarious pun – what more could you ask for?!
Humour
Lidl sure knows how to keep their marketing campaigns engaging! They reminded customers that they don’t have to go too far for their favorite grocery store ‘just a Lidl further’. Creative AND funny – it’s definitely worth a share!
Minimalist design
A billboard with too much information can be overwhelming and people may end up missing out on the important details. Minimalist designs are often more eye-catching especially when combined with bold colours! You only have a short period of time to make an impression on passing motorists, so make sure your billboard is impactful enough to attract their attention.
