The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is located in southwest London. The main town is Kingston upon Thames and otherwise consists of towns such as Chessington, Hook, New Malden and Norbiton. It is also the oldest of the four Royal Boroughs in England: the others being Kensington and Chelsea, Greenwich and Windsor and Maidenhead. It offers a population of over 176,000 permanent residents and boasts attractions such as Richmond Park and, the home of King Henry VIII – Hampton Court Palace.
