Exclusive Interview With International Women’s Day #EntreprenHER: Megha Randhawa
If you’re reading this on Friday the 8th of March 2024, then you might be aware that today is International Women’s Day (#IWD24). Actually, the title of this blog probably gave it away… but why does today matter to Billboard Media? What is an #EntreprenHER? And who is Megha? So many questions… but luckily for you, we have all the answers.
For a start, we’ve got some incredible women working in our team. One of the core principles underpinning International Women’s Day is that we all need to recognise the incredible impact women have in every workplace. That recognition helps to forge an inclusive environment where a woman’s career can thrive.
But as we mentioned earlier in the week, there’s another reason we are celebrating #IWD24…. RUN THE STATS (massive thank you to The Gender Index and the ONS for these!):
- There are 714,000 active female-led companies in England compared to 2.47m male-led companies.
- Over 75% of UK businesses are owned solely by men.
- Only 14% of people working in the UK’s construction industry between October and December 2023 were women.

One such woman working in the construction industry is Megha Randhawa- Co-Founder of D4S Bathrooms

In 2019, Megha and her husband, Jimmy, established their first family business on Preston Road in London: D4S Heating and Plumbing. The business went from strength to strength – even in spite of the pandemic! And now, D4S boasts over a hundred five-star reviews on Google!
In 2022, Megha led the expansion of their family business to include a high-end bathroom wholesale enterprise (complete with a stunning showroom)… D4S Bathrooms.
When many of us think of business owners in the home improvement sector, women like Megha don’t come to mind. We wanted to run a campaign for International Women’s Day that would give a platform to incredible women in leadership and in doing so, dispel stereotypes. Megha is a shining example. At 30, this fabulous Indian immigrant donning Fendi heels is a compression adaptor expert and exceptional entrepreneur.
Megha embodies this #EntreprenHER spirit with her bold choices. In 2023, she stepped into the spotlight as the face of her luxury bathroom and plumbing business on billboards in Ruislip and Brent Cross, reaching hundreds of thousands of people. Her fearless approach and unwavering confidence are commendable.
Megha understands the power of representation and the personal touch in connecting with audiences. She proudly embraces her femininity, inspiring others to carve their paths in underrepresented spaces.

We all love working with Megha and we want you to understand why! So….
We packed our cameras and headed over to Preston Road in Wembley to interview this incredible #EntreprenHER. We were greeted with sandwiches and beautiful coffee. Everyone from D4S was so accommodating and is a testament to what a business can be when women are encouraged to flourish as leaders.
